Maud Passini is a French-born, Brooklyn-based artist working primarily with textiles. Her practice explores intimacy, memory, and emotional residue through slow, tactile processes.

Using fabric, stitching, and repetition, she creates works that sit between vulnerability and restraint—objects that carry traces of care, repair, and quiet insistence. Her pieces draw from domestic language while resisting decoration, positioning softness as a form of strength and presence.

Passini’s work is informed by a background in visual design, but intentionally departs from functionality, favoring intuition, material resistance, and emotional precision. Through fiber-based forms, she investigates how personal histories are held, layered, and sometimes stitched back together.
